Bracken Reed

Bracken provides technical editing and writing services across the organization and is a key part of the quality assurance process for all REL Northwest studies and reports. He grew up in Eastern Washington and received a bachelor's degree in English from The Evergreen State College. He has lived in the Pacific Northwest region his entire life. Besides the written word, his main interests include playing music, gardening, fly fishing, and taking long walks with his dog.

I believe that education is the key to social advancement, personal enrichment, and an informed citizenry. I also believe that the public education system is still in need of significant reform. I'm proud to work for an organization that also believes passionately in the power of education and whose main goal is to help schools and communities become more equitable, informed and effective.
