This year’s sessions are organized into six strands:
- Accelerated Learning in English and Mathematics: credit recovery, extra time and support, proficiency-based instruction
- Continuous Program Improvement: sustaining reform, professional development, leadership capacity/distribution, use of common planning time
- Career Academies and Career/Technical Education (CTE): national standards of practice, integrating CTE and academic subjects
- Postsecondary Readiness: distributed guidance, tracking student progress through and beyond high school; advisory and student support practices
- Detracking Issues and Practices: gaining parents’/teachers’ support, eliminating remedial courses/programs, instructional practice, support for students
- Planning and Supporting High School Transformation: launching small learning communities/career academies/small schools, prep for external project review, grant writing, master class scheduling
