Universal Design for Learning (Webinar 2)

May 5, 2016

Presenter: Jacob Williams

The goal of instruction is not exclusively to ensure all learners—including culturally diverse and students with special needs—master content knowledge, but to ensure learners master the learning process. This webinar will provide participants an overview of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework. UDL is a planning and delivery framework recognized as a best practice in the federal Every Student Succeeds Act. UDL seeks to improve learning for all students by increasing meaningful access and reducing barriers for diverse learners of all cultures and backgrounds.
