Becoming an Education Northwest Member Institution
Education Northwest's mission is to improve educational results for children, youth, and adults by providing research and development assistance in delivering equitable, high-quality educational programs. Education Northwest provides research and development assistance to education, government, community agencies, business, and labor.
Membership Eligibility
To be eligible for Education Northwest membership, an organization, institution, or agency must:
- Have its headquarters in an affiliated state: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Washington
- Have an independent governing board
- Have a resolution adopted by that governing board requesting membership and stating a commitment to the mission of the Education Northwest
There is no cost for membership. Each member institution designates a representative for liaison with Education Northwest.

- Resources for planning and implementing effective schooling practices
- Participate in electing a person to represent member institutions from its state on the Education Northwest Board of Directors
