Education Northwest is proud to be home to one of the nation’s 15 regional Comprehensive Centers. We have served our region in this capacity since 1996, helping to build the capacity of state education agencies (SEAs) in the five Northwest states (Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington).
Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, the Northwest Comprehensive Center (NWCC) provides high-impact training and technical assistance to SEA staff in planning, implementing, monitoring, and sustaining initiatives in priority areas such as college and career readiness, educator effectiveness, school improvement, and rigorous, college- and career-ready standards implementation.
Our job is to provide high-quality assistance and resources that are useful and relevant, supporting states’ and districts’ reform efforts to significantly improve student outcomes.
