Federal and local funders of youth mentoring programs are increasingly emphasizing research-based mentoring practices and proven program models. Education Northwest's National Mentoring Center (NMC) can assist mentoring programs of all types in finding, understanding, and applying the research and best practices that support effective programs.

Our staff has access to a wealth of mentoring literature, research related to mentoring and youth development, and a wide variety of educational and youth-work resources. We can conduct customized research syntheses and literature reviews for programs of all types.

The NMC can also provide in-depth analyses of long-term trends in the field and cutting edge research to inform policymakers and funders as they set the national youth mentoring agenda.
