Leah is dedicated to partnering with clients to conduct high-quality research and evaluation studies that produce useful results and meaningful opportunities for learning. She is particularly passionate about the ways in which data and evidence can be used to support equity in education.

She has worked on research and evaluation projects in a range of contexts and content areas, including early learning evaluation capacity building and technical assistance in India, examining perceptions of racial climate at postsecondary institutions and evaluating career pathways and student supports at community and technical colleges.

Prior to joining Education Northwest, Leah worked as a senior consultant with DVP-PRAXIS and as the education director for performance analysis and continuous improvement with the Wisconsin Technical College System. She holds a doctorate in psychology from the University of Michigan.

“My goal as an evaluator is to use data and research to help clients meet the needs of students and communities. Evaluation in the education sector is an opportunity to bridge research and practice and to generate actionable information and results that can be used to support individual and community learning, success and overall well-being.”
