Patty Wood, School Board Member Representative from the Kelso School District in Washington state, has joined the Education Northwest Board of Directors. Wood is one of 23 directors guiding our work to transform teaching and learning in the Northwest region and beyond.

Wood has been involved with the Kelso School Board since 2003, serving as both the president and vice president during that time. She is active in the Washington State School Directors Association, currently serving on the policy and bylaws committee and the trust lands task force, and volunteers for several community organizations. Wood holds a bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University in Ellensburg and a master’s degree from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Patty Wood joins other district superintendents, chief state school officers, teachers, business representatives, and parents in helping to guide the work of Education Northwest.
