Need help finding research-based answers to questions about education policies, programs, and practices?

Ask A REL Librarian Jennifer Klump
The Ask A REL Reference Desk service at REL Northwest provides educators, policymakers, and community members with prompt, authoritative resources customized to your needs:
As part of this service we have access to National Library of Education staff and resources, and information from similar requests handled by other Regional Educational Laboratories. The reference desk serves Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. If you are outside the REL Northwest service area, we will connect you with the regional educational laboratory serving your state.
Requests received during our previous REL contract (2006–2011) include research on diverse topics such as the four-day school week, school district consolidation, and the impact of small classes on student achievement. On a regular basis, we share our responses to questions we have received. View our response to the latest featured question.
