Principal Consultant, Equity & Systems Improvement for Multilingual Learners

Jennifer’s professional passion is in creating educational access and promoting authentic student identity and agency in education. Great collaboration and connection with individuals that results in multiple perspectives motivates her to keep pushing the work forward. She is looking forward to flexing her cognitive and academic skills at Education Northwest by designing and delivering high-quality professional learning experiences for adults.

Her career includes 23 years of experience serving in public education as a dual language teacher, bilingual instructional coach, building principal, and district-level multilingual director. Her focus over the years has been on serving diverse, multilingual populations in underserved school settings. She has also worked as a multilingual consultant, Washington State dual language task force member, and WIDA professional development trainer.
