Johnette Burdette is an accomplished senior leader and subject matter expert, bringing more than 21 years of experience managing people, projects, and organizations in the design and development of education products and services. Her work supports states, districts, and schools in their improvement efforts. In particular, she has developed, implemented, and monitored initiatives in the areas of leadership, school improvement, professional learning communities, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Johnette offers a thoughtful, entrepreneurial, and data-driven approach to leadership. She emphasizes the development and implementation of sustainable systems that improve student outcomes, cultivate high-performing teams, and help clients make research relevant.
As a former turnaround principal, I am intrigued by the process of systems improvement and alignment. I am a radical agitator for equity and access for all, especially our most vulnerable populations of color.
