Stuart’s passion lies in using his knowledge and expertise to help organizations grow, operate efficiently, and better serve their mission. As a child of two public school educators, and the husband of another, Stuart has heard the many challenges facing our public education system throughout his life. It is his hope and belief that through the development of effective business operations and financial strategy, he can help serve Education Northwest’s mission of improving educational outcomes in this country.

Stuart has more than 20 years of experience serving in financial leadership roles for companies in multiple industries, including professional services, non-profit, technology, and retail. He has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Southwest Educational Development Laboratory (SEDL), led accounting operations at American Institutes for Research (AIR), and worked in corporate finance for large publicly-traded companies and startups.
