This brief highlights findings from our evaluation of the ECMC Foundation Parenting Student Success Initiative. We analyzed national data and collected new data to understand parenting students in college—who these students are, what they experience, the goals they hope to accomplish, and the obstacles they face. From these data, we uplifted recommendations—direct from parenting students—about how colleges can support them to succeed in school and earn their credentials.
