Authors: Jacob Williams, Sam Riggs, Libbie Brey, and Leah Kenney
September 2020

This report sheds light on inequities faced by students with disabilities in college and suggests levers to improve student experiences, including focus areas for policy, regulation, advocacy, and research. The National Center for Learning Disabilities commissioned this research from Education Northwest to help prioritize initiatives for postsecondary students with disabilities. At the time, few national efforts focused on improving systems of support or studying which had a positive impact. Using our extensive postsecondary network and our knowledge of relevant data sources, Education Northwest conducted a landscape scan, literature review, and interviews to shape the findings.
