Lena Fox

Associate, Education & Youth Development

Lena is passionate about education, youth development, and equipping educators with the tools they need to create the best possible learning environments for all youth. For over 20 years, Lena has worked directly with communities' most vulnerable students and families to build a foundation of trust through relationships. Lena supports educational transformation to ensure that all students have equitable access and opportunities for success.

A former community school manager, Lena brings expertise in quality program design and implementation; STEM/STEAM curriculum development; and implementation of restorative justice, trauma-informed practice, and social and emotional learning. She sought grants to expand student access to STEM/STEAM programs and prioritize staff development in practices that ensure all students feel support and a sense of belonging in their school community.

Lena is a member of the Oregon MESA equity team and the East Metro STEAM partnership education committee. She is also an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
