Applied Research & Program Management
As a former teacher, Rebecca is passionate about working with current and prospective educators to provide support, resources, and data to provide for more effective, equitable education opportunities for all students. She believes that researchers and educators have an obligation to modernize policy, standards, and practice to ensure students receive the education they deserve and are prepared for life after school.
Before joining Education Northwest, Rebecca worked at RTI International where she focused on research and evaluation projects designed to enhance Career and Technical Education (CTE) and career pathways at the secondary and postsecondary level. She also worked at the Center for Applied Linguistics, developing English language assessments for students and teachers both domestically and internationally. These roles provided the framework for her work at Education Northwest where she focuses on research and evaluation in CTE and multilingual preparation programs. She is also a Certified Associate in Project Management.
