Managing Researcher, Applied Research & Evaluation

Elizabeth loves working with partners to engage in meaningful evaluation that shapes education. Every day, she is motivated by these relationships and the potential impact of her work. She is most passionate about researching and evaluating projects focused on early learning because this is a fundamental time of life that shapes our trajectory going forward. She believes implementation and impact data can help us ensure that all children and families have access to high-quality, equitable, and supportive learning environments.

Elizabeth has multiple years of experience in applied research and evaluation and has worked in various early learning capacities as a preschool teacher, a Head Start family outreach coordinator, and in the Oregon State University Child Development Center training teachers in developmentally appropriate practice. She holds a doctorate in applied developmental psychology and systems science from Portland State University and a master’s degree in human development and family studies from Oregon State University.
