Sam Riggs

Sam Riggs is a researcher at Education Northwest. His work examines the influence of structures, programs, and policies on postsecondary access and success. He has more than a decade of academic and professional experience in higher education. Sam received his doctorate in higher education from Penn State University, where he worked as a graduate assistant in the Center for the Study of Higher Education. Before that, he was an assistant director of admission at the University of Puget Sound.

I enjoy my work at Education Northwest because it provides me the opportunity to conduct actionable research while working collaboratively with practitioners and policymakers to improve outcomes for all students.
