Sam is a researcher in the Center for Research, Evaluation, and Analysis at Education Northwest. He has more than a decade of academic and professional experience in higher education. In his current work, he examines issues related to postsecondary student access and success. Sam received his doctorate in higher education from Penn State University, where he worked as a graduate assistant in the Center for the Study of Higher Education. Before that, he was an assistant director of admission at the University of Puget Sound.
I enjoy my work at Education Northwest because it provides me the opportunity to conduct actionable research while working collaboratively with practitioners and policymakers to improve outcomes for all students.
